There will be a ladies luncheon on Saturday, May 12, 2012, 12 noon, at CBC in the Fellowship Hall. This promises to be a time of blessing for all ladies. You are asked to bring a main dish or dessert to share. Invite your mothers, sisters, friends, and neighbors.
CBC will be hosting PARBC’s annual Talents for Christ competition April 27-28. On Friday evening there will be Bible quizzing, sub sandwiches and soda, and will feature a youth rally.
On Saturday, teens from independent Baptist Churches from Pennsylvania will be performing and presenting exhibits of their fine arts and Bible knowledge abilities from 9 am – 12:30 pm. See Pastor Smith or youth leaders for more information.
CBC will be providing housing for visting teen girls and female sponsors and will also provide the noon meal on Saturday.
CBC will be having a fellowships dinner following the morning worship service on Sunday, April 29th. Following the service, all in attendance are invited to join us for a potluck meal together in the Fellowship Hall.
CBC is hosting a 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament for 7th – 12th graders on Saturday, April 21, 2012. It begins with registration at 10 am and runs until 4 pm. There will be teams of girls against girls and boys against boys playing throughout the day. Lunch will be provided and a gospel message will follow. Join us on April 8th, 2012 as we “Celebrate our Savior”. We begin this special day at 8:00 AM with our Son Rise Service, followed by a 9:00 AM Breakfast. At 10:00 AM our choir will present an Easter Musical “Celebrate our Savior”, by Ron & Shelly Hamilton. All are invited!

Dinner Theater at “Guido’s Italian Restaurante”, actually being held at CBC on Saturday, March 10th at 6 PM. This promises to be a night of fun, food, and laughs for adults. This is a radio melodrama called “A Dark and Stormy Night” and is being presented by members of CBC and BCS. Come dressed in 30′s or 40′s style if desired. Tickets are available before Mar. 7th and are $10/couple and $6/single ( just to cover the food costs). Call 387-0655 to reserve tickets. Sorry, there will not be any babysitting services available.
CBC has an exciting ministry to offer to children. Awana is an established ministry that has been around for many years. Starting January 11th, 2012, every Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm children age 4 through 6th grade are invited to come. There will be scripture memory, games, and fun. Please join us for our Ladies of Calvary Fall Seminary on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 9:30-2:30 at Calvary Baptist Church. The theme for this year’s seminar is The King’s Daughter taken from Psalm 45:13. Our guest speaker will be Connie Collins of Emmanual Bible Church of South Carolina who will address the theme during the morning session. Following the morning session lunch will be provided in the Fellowship Hall.
