CBC has an exciting ministry to offer to children. Awana is an established ministry that has been around for many years. Starting January 11th, 2012, every Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm children age 4 through 6th grade are invited to come. There will be scripture memory, games, and fun. Please join us for our Ladies of Calvary Fall Seminary on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 9:30-2:30 at Calvary Baptist Church. The theme for this year’s seminar is The King’s Daughter taken from Psalm 45:13. Our guest speaker will be Connie Collins of Emmanual Bible Church of South Carolina who will address the theme during the morning session. Following the morning session lunch will be provided in the Fellowship Hall.

Ladies Bible Study is being held Monday 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the church. Join us Monday evenings from June through August for a refreshing time of fellowship in God’s Word! We will be learning a simple method of Bible Study, and using it to study God’s character through selected Psalms. Summer is often so busy! Come as you can throughout the summer! The community is invited to attend Calvary Baptist Church Spring Missions Conference to be held April 10-13, 2011 at 7:00 pm. Participants for the conference are: Mark Barilla, Church Planter, Cameroon, Africa; Don & Dana Fultz, Church Planter, Argentina; Paul Joles, Church Planter, Spanish in Michigan.

CBC will be hosting PARBC’s annual Talents for Christ competition March 25-26. On Friday evening there will be Bible quizzing, sub sandwiches and soda, and will feature a youth rally with Evangelist Mark Kittrell.
On Saturday, teens from Pennsylvania fundamental Baptist Churches will be performing and presenting exhibits of their fine arts and Bible knowledge abilities from 9 am – 12:30 pm. See Pastor Smith or youth leaders for more information.
CBC will be providing housing for visting teen girls and female sponsors, and will also provide the noon meal on Saturday. Workers are needed for setting up the building on Thursday, March 24 at 3 pm and for clean-up on Saturday, March 26 at 3 pm.
Youth are having a sledding outing at Columbia Park (Lime Ridge) from 2 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, January 29. See youth leaders for details.
All are invited to a potluck dinner in the Fellowship Hall (lower level) of Calvary Baptist Church. Please bring a fish or game dish to share. CBC will provide rolls and beverages. Following the dinner, Ken Alt of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania will present Talking Turkey—a seminar on calling and hunting the wild turkeys of Pennsylvania.
