Talents for Christ – March 25-26
Saturday, January 29th, 2011CBC will be hosting PARBC’s annual Talents for Christ competition March 25-26. On Friday evening there will be Bible quizzing, sub sandwiches and soda, and will feature a youth rally with Evangelist Mark Kittrell.
On Saturday, teens from Pennsylvania fundamental Baptist Churches will be performing and presenting exhibits of their fine arts and Bible knowledge abilities from 9 am – 12:30 pm. See Pastor Smith or youth leaders for more information.
CBC will be providing housing for visting teen girls and female sponsors, and will also provide the noon meal on Saturday. Workers are needed for setting up the building on Thursday, March 24 at 3 pm and for clean-up on Saturday, March 26 at 3 pm.
Youth Sledding – Jan 29 @ 2 pm
Saturday, January 29th, 2011Youth are having a sledding outing at Columbia Park (Lime Ridge) from 2 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, January 29. See youth leaders for details.
Fish and Game Dinner
Monday, December 27th, 2010All are invited to a potluck dinner in the Fellowship Hall (lower level) of Calvary Baptist Church. Please bring a fish or game dish to share. CBC will provide rolls and beverages. Following the dinner, Ken Alt of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania will present Talking Turkey—a seminar on calling and hunting the wild turkeys of Pennsylvania.

Men and Young Men’s Group
Tuesday, December 14th, 2010All men and young men are invited to come out the 1st Saturday of each month for a Bible study and breakfast. We will be using the book Fathers and Sons: Stand Fast in the Truth as a study guide. Copies of the book are $10. Contact Pastor Smith to get your copy.

Ladies of Calvary Prayer Sisters
Tuesday, December 14th, 2010LOC Prayer Sisters sheet are to be filled out and handed to Ingrid Campbell by Dec. 19 for ladies who wish to participate this coming year. This is an opportunity for ladies to encourage each other and get to know someone a little better.
