Calvary Baptist Church will be hosting Talents for Christ this Friday and Saturday. TFC is an encouraging, competitive event for 7th-12th graders around the state of Pennsylvania designed to foster growth in visual and performing arts and skills in Christian ministry. Bible quizzing, baking, instrumental and choral music and competition in many other categories is planned. We also welcome Rand Hummel who will be speaking.
The Youth Group will be attending the Harvest Rally in Morgantown, PA this Saturday, September 21. ?Harvest Rally PA is a yearly event dedicated to assisting ?in discipling your Youth Group for Christ. A day full of crazy games, unique opportunities such as car smashing and human fooseball, college groups, fun skits, great food, and powerful messages all help to make it a day to never forget. ?The Flag Football Tournament, the Volleyball Tournament, and the 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament are guaranteed to be fun! CBC will be hosting PARBC?s annual Talents for Christ competition April 27-28. On Friday evening there will be Bible quizzing, sub sandwiches and soda, and will feature a youth rally.
On Saturday, teens from independent Baptist Churches from Pennsylvania will be performing and presenting exhibits of their fine arts and Bible knowledge abilities from 9 am ? 12:30 pm. See Pastor Smith or youth leaders for more information.
CBC will be providing housing for visting teen girls and female sponsors and will also provide the noon meal on Saturday.
